These databases are funded jointly by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Massachusetts Library System, so you can access them for free.

Writing and Citations
The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)
The English Department at Purdue University started an online writing lab in 1994. Today 1.4 million unique users visit the Purdue OWL website each week during the academic year (Purdue University, 2024). The Purdue OWL is a writing reference for proper word usage, punctuation, grammar, and style.
