Library Lessons & Services for Teachers

Licensed school library teachers and support staff are actively engaged in the implementation of the school's curriculum and instructional practices. We are here to support teachers in enhancing student learning and to provide professional support to classroom teachers to ensure high-quality instruction on information literacy, research techniques, citing sources, and accessing literature from a variety of genres (from NEASC Standards for Accreditation, 2023, standard 4.4).

Literature and Reading

Do you have a group of students that will be reading the same title at the same time (a class read, book club, etc.)? Let us know and we can request short-term simultaneous use access to that title in Sora.

Library Classroom Space

The library has a classroom area with a Promethean Panel and tables and chairs for up to 30 students. Staff may reserve this space by emailing/messaging Mary Lou or Kaila or by calling the library phone extension 21036. Please refer to the library calendar below to check on availability. We may be able to accommodate multiple classes at once if necessary.
